PASTOR DAREN BAKER 
 
I am the recipient of  God's Grace and He is not done with me yet. So!  I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.                                                                            ---Philippians 3:14

Pastor Daren Baker is a native of Grandridge, Florida, and the oldest son of the late Presiding Elder Tracy and District Mother Cleo Baker of Church of Christ Written in Heaven (COCWIH), Tallahassee Florida District.  Pastor Baker is a retired Navy Veteran with 20 years of honorable service and graduate from Lancaster Bible College Capital Seminary & Graduate School where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies.  Pastor Baker is currently enrolled in the Master of Arts program in Christian Care.   
 
Pastor Baker has held numerous leadership roles and is a member of the Jessup, Maryland Improvement Association and serves as the Chairman of the Safety Committee for Arundel Woods Home Owner's Association. 
 
Pastor Baker accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in January 2007.  He was baptized under the leadership of Pastor George Sharps at Jesus Lives Ministry Fellowship, Hanover Maryland.  While at Jesus Lives Ministry, Pastor Baker began to study and grow further in the word of God.  
He was ordained Deacon, Minister, and Elder, and has led several ministries to include: Intercessory Prayer Team, Youth Ministry, Praise Team, and Board of Trustees.  
 
Pastor Baker is passionate about the spiritual growth and maturity of God's people. He takes the promise of Jeremiah 3:15 seriously when God said, "I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding." Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and through Kingdom Hope Ministry, Pastor Baker is committed to maintaining a place of worship where the people of God can grow spiritually, develop and use their gifts, and build relationships in a safe environment.  Creating a culture where (1) Life can change (be introduced to Jesus Christ; (2) Life will be transformed (teaching the word of God); (3) Life will be maintained (applying the word of God to our daily lives).  
   
Pastor Daren Baker currently resides in Jessup, Maryland, with his wife – Evangelist Tina M. Baker.  They are the proud parents and grandparents of some amazing children.  By faith through grace, Pastor Baker has been given the mandate to teach and preach the word of God.  He is determined to go where the Spirit of the Lord leads and will uplift the name of Jesus to all generations for such a time as this.
